Al Hamam Tower is a restored watchtower in the Masfout area, positioned to monitor movement through a rugged landscape of wadis and mountain passes. It represents the small defensive structures that worked with larger forts to protect communities, water and agricultural routes. For tourists, the building is best read as part of a defensive and administrative network rather than as an isolated picturesque fort. Notice the towers, limited entrances, firing openings, courtyard, water access and locally available stone, coral, mudbrick or palm materials.
