The Command
The Command
About this place
The command was built on a site that housed the Spanish governor's residence and gardens during the occupation of Larache in the 17th century. As the building underwent transformations, its unique character was enhanced, losing its links with its immediate surroundings. Strongly inspired by Nasrid architecture, the command is built on two floors surrounding a roofed courtyard and today houses the music conservatory and the delegation of the Ministry of Culture in Larache.
