Martil beach is without a doubt the best beach in the region, known for its fine sand and crystal clear water. Looking to the east, swimming in this beautiful beach is highly recommended. The area extending northwards, also known as Beni Salem, has the best beaches and some urban centers, such as the golf club. Swimming and sea walks are the best and most recommended activities in Martil. It is a very pleasant place to dine in a fish restaurant, have a drink in one of the cafes, go camping or play golf, but also to enjoy the magnificent view of the ocean and the mountains of Gomera.
