The Kasbah is the fortified castle located in the highest part of the Medina. Its privileged location gives access to a breathtaking view over the bay of the city, the port and the entrance to the medina. It is in its heart that you will find the most interesting and iconic landmarks of the city, such as Dar El-Makhzen, the Sultan's Palace (now the Museum of Mediterranean Cultures), or Bab El Bahr (the gate of the sea), one of the original gates of the city that gives access to one of the best viewpoints of the capital of the Strait.
