Belyounech
About this place
At the foot of the "Jbel Moussa" - also known in Spanish as "La Mujer Muerta" - lies the small fishing village of Belyounech. Although long unknown by Moroccans, the history of this village goes back to antiquity, and was even compared by the famous judge and theologian Caddi Ayad to paradise, because of its beauty and difficult accessibility. Belyounech, is also one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean coast, but also the last one in Northern Morocco. Its fine golden sand and turquoise water attract all visitors and invite them to dip their feet in the cold water which contrasts exquisitely with the warmth of the sun on their skin. The village is also very popular among scuba diving lovers who come to explore its seabed. If you are looking for a pleasant weekend getaway surrounded by the beach and the nature, in peace and tranquility, Belyounech is your next destination!
