Al Ain Museum presents archaeology and ethnography from the oasis region, including material from Bronze Age tombs, Iron Age settlements and later communities. Its collections provide essential context for the nearby Hili sites, Jebel Hafit tombs, forts and falaj irrigation systems, linking objects with thousands of years of settlement. A visitor can use the collections to connect individual objects with larger changes in Emirati life: oasis farming, pearling, dhow trade, household work, education, government and the transition after oil.
