Al Bidya Mosque

Al Bidya Mosque is the oldest surviving mosque in the UAE that remains in use, with scientific dating placing its construction around 1599. A central pillar supports four distinctive domes without timber roof beams, while the small prayer hall contains a mihrab, minbar, ventilation openings and shelves.
