Bab al-Kasbah

About this place

Built in 1912, Bab Al Kasbah is one of the three gateways to the Medina. It lies in the northern part of the Medina. Surrounded by gardens, this gate faces the Muslim cemetery where stands the Mausoleum of Sidi Ahmed Al Mansour who re-conquered the city after the Battle of the Three Kings in 1578.
