Hassan II Cultural Center

The Hassan II Cultural Center was founded in 1988 on a former military compound to revive the cultural movement in Assilah. Renovated since then, it lies in the Kasbah, a rectangular citadel dating from the Portuguese period which also houses the Great Mosque. The center organizes temporary exhibitions, conferences and the Assilah International Cultural Moussem in August.
