Krikiya, the Balcony of Assilah

This cornice to the southwest of the wall offers us one of the most emblematic views of the region as well as the possibility of watching one of the most beautiful sunsets. From this balcony it is possible to observe the tireless beating of the waves against the 15th century Portuguese walls, with the white facade of the inner city and El Raisuli Palace as witnesses, all of which gives the sensation of being on a boat. At its base lies the Marabut of Sidi Ahmed Ben Mansour, with its small cemetery consisting of about fifty tombs covered with ceramics.
