Raissouni Palace

About this place

Built by Assilah's pasha, Moulay Ahmed el Raissouni, a few years after the Perdicaris incident in the early 20th century, the Raissouni Palace is a large white building decorated with checkerboard mosaics and elegant coverings. It is located next to the Assilah Wall in its Atlantic section. Nowadays, the Raissouni Palace serves as a venue for many cultural activities throughout the year.
