Borj al Yahoudi

In 1978, Borj al Yahoudi or the Tower of the Jew was transformed into a museum in the town of Larache. Built on Dar el Makhzen square, near the city walls, the museum exhibits archaeological objects discovered on the site of Lixus. The first section presents the objects chronologically (Phoenician, Punic, Mauritian, Roman and Islamic periods). The second section, located on the second floor, follows a thematic order (religious life, mythology, architecture, ornaments, ceramics).
