The Great Mosque of Larache was built by order of Sidi Mohammed ibn Abdallah at the same time as the Petit Souk. The complex of the mosque and Madrasah is at the heart of the urban landscape. Despite its discreet exterior appearance, it covers an area of more than 1,000 m2.
