Dar Sqaf

About this place

Dar Sqaf is the oldest part of the Medina. The founder of the fraternity "Fraternité Ouazzanie" chose it to be the place where he lived and was buried. This part of the Medina of Ouezzane is also home to the Zaouïa of Tabiya and the green mosque with its octagonal minaret. The current sheikh still resides in this Zawiya and adopted it as the seat of the Ouazzanie brotherhood.
