The Hotel Continental in Tangier is one of the oldest in Africa and one of the most important in the city and history of Tangier since its opening in 1870. Classified as National Heritage, its mixture of styles, its views over the bay and its legendary guests, make it a must-see to enjoy the vibrant experience of International Tangier. Sir Winston Churchill stayed in its rooms for years, and it was here that he met Mercedes Acosta, Greta Garbo's close friend.
