Bab Okla Canal
About this place
This fountain takes its name from the most famous gate of the old city. It is Bab Okla, which is one of the largest watering canals in the city. Built by Hajj Muhammad Ben Omar Loukach, during his reign between 1751-1758, this canal has a long stone basin with epigraphic symbols symbolizing religious coexistence in the city.
