Histoire
Dar Sidi El Mandri
About this place
This is the first house built in the picturesque city of Tetouan. Its construction was linked to the mosque of the Kasbah in the fifteenth century. This house has a special symbolic meaning because it was the house of the emirate, the residence of the ruler, founder and renovator of the city of Tetouan in the 15th century. This house was closely linked to the old mosque by a door on which Abu Hassan Ali El Mandri used to pray.
