The construction of this bakery is linked to the urban development that this neighborhood experienced thanks to the massive arrival of Moriscos in the early seventeenth century, and its fame comes from its proximity to the palace of the Pasha Ahmed Rifi and later with its proximity to the House of the Emirs and the Oualis. In the early 20th century, the palace of the Caliph of the Sultan, during the Spanish protectorate in northern Morocco. This old-fashioned oven still offers its services to the inhabitants of the neighborhood and specializes in the sale of certain dried fruits.
