Oven of the Kasbah

About this place

The furnace of the Kasbah, it can be considered as the oldest bakery of the city of Tetouan. It dates from the period of renovation of this castle by Qaid Ali El Mandri at the end of the fifteenth century. It still retains its engineering elements, despite the fact that it was closed a long time ago and transformed into an ordinary store, without altering its architectural composition. It is located next to the house of judgment.
