The construction of this canal or fountain was associated with the great construction of the tomb of Sidi Al-Saidi. It is a medium-sized fountain, inlaid with tiles, of a square type, with a low basin from which young children can drink and cattle and animals, especially cats, drink from it. Above this channel with a horseshoe arch is an inscription dated the owner of this and the date of its renewal, the year 1721 which confirms that the channel was as old as the tomb of Sidi al-Saidi. "
